Rooms for your wedding ceremony
The official ceremony room, the “Abtei”, can accommodate a maximum of 30 people. You would like to invite more guests to the wedding ceremony? Then we will be happy to show you the other possibilities.
You can also use the house as a “photo location” , for example in case of bad weather. Ask us for the conditions!
Spoil yourself and your guests after the “yes” with a short or longer aperitif, the house offers different rooms for this purpose according to your needs.
The wedding ceremony must be reserved at the civil registry office Obwalden. Civil marriage ceremonies in the Herrenhaus are also possible for residents of other cantons. Unfortunately, the dates on which the registry office offers weddings in the Herrenhaus are very limited. As an alternative, we are happy to recommend our partner for a free ceremony. After a short civil ceremony at the registry office on any day, you are free to choose the time for your “saying YES” with family and friends.
